[CoC] Pledge early for a great kickoff!

Hello members of UCM's Governing Board, Executive Time and Committee of
Chairs,

Our annual pledge drive begins this Sunday, Feb 12!  I have two special
invitations to you to help us get the drive going...

The first is to please come to our Generosity Celebration Dinner this
Friday night (doors open at 5:30).  We'll celebrate the kickoff of the
pledge drive, hear from a few speakers and eat delicious food!  Starting
this drive off with lots of energy and enthusiasm is important; as many of
you are aware, we have an ambitious goal to reach this year ($378,000).  I
believe that it will be possible to reach it if we can ground ourselves
again and again in our love for this community and our care for the
relationships we have with each other!

My second request is that you pledge early, so that we can demonstrate on
Sunday that our community leaders are committed to this drive.  As we have
done in the past, we will be representing pledges visually in the Sanctuary
throughout the drive. Physical pledge materials will be available for pick
up on Sunday but if you can pledge online before then, that would be a
great start!

You may notice a few pages on UCM's website that still reference last
year's pledge drive.  These links and pages are being adjusted for the
current year this week so that they are ready for Feb 12.  If you are
unable to access the pledge form link above, check back again later - a
hard-working staff member or volunteer is probably editing the page!

And... THANK YOU.  Everyone on this list is someone who gives generously to
UCM: your time, your attention, your presence, your expertise.  We are so
thankful for the gifts that each of you share in our community.
