*Subject: *Celebrating Our Ministry Together

*Time to Celebrate!!!*

*When:*   Sunday, April 3, at 4:00 pm

*What’s the Occasion:*     The Installation Ceremony of the Rev. Joan
Javier-Duval as minister of the Unitarian Church of Montpelier

*Who’s invited: *   All of us!  UCM members and friends, Rev. Joan’s
family, local and visiting UU dignitaries and clergy, neighboring clergy of
other faiths and all who wish to celebrate with us.

*Why is this important? *The Unitarian Church of Montpelier has been a
beacon of the love, compassion, hope of our liberal faith for over 150
years here in central Vermont.  Our minister has an important voice in our
community, in our world, and perhaps most importantly, in our own hearts
and minds.  We have called The Rev. Joan Javier-Duval to that ministry,
and, in this very historic and moving ceremony, we officially announce to
the world that she is our minister, called to lead our church in this time
and place.

(There will be a reception in the vestry following the ceremony, hosted by
the UCM Women’s Alliance.  Contributions of finger foods are always
welcome.)
