support UCM’s work in the Community, which is more important now more than

The Unitarian Church of Montpelier is a beacon of hope in troubling times.
In our current political climate, our mission to welcome all, nurture our
spiritual journeys, serve human need, and protect the Earth is more
important than ever. Together in loving community, we can forge a path
forward through the darkness.


As a democratically run religious community, the contributions of time,
talent, and treasure of members and friends are essential to fulfilling our
mission. About 80% of the income for our operating budget comes from
individual pledges, and we are aiming to raise $254,500 from pledges to
support next year’s operating budget. We have already raised $111,402, and
we need your help to reach our goal.


Next year’s budget includes strategic investments to help us carry out our
mission even more effectively. We plan to increase hours for both our
Acting Director of Religious Education and our Sexton, set up technology to
live stream our Sunday service, support interfaith organizing, and more.
