Hello, everyone!

Several years ago, I attended a conference at Middle Collegiate Church
<https://www.middlechurch.org/> in NYC that blew me away. The focus was on
building justice-focused, anti-racist, multi-cultural faith communities.
The speakers, workshops, and worship were heart-filling and transforming.

This coming year, the conference will be held in Washington, DC from April
24-26, 2020 at All Souls Church, Unitarian as the Revolutionary Love
Conference <http://revolutionaryloveconference.com/>.

Here is a list of speakers
<http://revolutionaryloveconference.com/speakers-2020> for the event,
including Rev. William Barber II, Sister Simone Campbell, Valarie Kaur,
Rev. Jacqueline Lewis, Ruby Sales, Rev. angel kyodo williams, and many
others.

I plan to go to the conference and would love to travel down with members
of this congregation, staff, Board members, etc.

There is a discount if we register as a group of 5 or more *by December 31*.
(Discount registration cost is $269 + $6.37 fee per person.) UUs can also
get a discount registering as individuals with the code *UUVOTE20*.

Unfortunately, we do not have a line item to offer financial support to UCM
members/friends for attending this conference. I would, however, be more
than willing to help figure out some fundraising strategies so that cost is
not a barrier for anyone who would like to attend.

(I also know that with General Assembly in June, folx may not have much
more capacity - time, money, or engery - to attend another large conference
this spring/summer.)

*If you ARE interested in attending, please let me know by this Sunday,
December 22.*

Feel free to share this message with others.

Love,
Joan
