[Choir] Announcing our end of summer "retreat"!!

Which as Dick mentioned in a previous email,  isn't really a retreat at
all, but a wonderful gathering of singing!  Below is the announcement, feel
free to pass it on to anyone you think might be interested.  I will also
send it on as a pdf flyer a little later, if that is an easier way to share.

The planning is not complete, so if anyone has any great ideas about it
you'd like to pass on to Dick or the music committee, please feel free.
Also, we might be needing to call on choir members to help with various
aspects of the event, and if there is anything in particular someone would
like to help with let us know that as well.  We will be sending something
around closer to the time to ask you all which of the mini-sessions you
would like to attend.

 Introducing the 1st Annual UCM Sing-in!
Saturday, September 2nd, 2pm   UCM Vestry

*Open to the entire UCM community and friends, join the UCM choir in a fun
and inspiring celebration of singing together. *


The afternoon will include lively group singing, along with optional
mini-sessions such as “Taking Care of your Voice”, “Informal Song Circle”,
“Music Reading De-Mystified”, and “Advanced Ensemble”.  Whether you want to
just have fun singing with friends or learn new skills, and whatever your
level of experience and ability, there will be something for everyone!


*A potluck supper at 5:00 will follow the afternoon of singing and sharing.*
