[Choir] Fwd: Dave Grundy

As Lincoln House is just minutes from my house, I have been visiting 
Darlene  once or twice a week, and at Rev. Joan's suggestion, read her 
the weekly bulletin last week, which she enjoyed.  Then I remembered my 
experience in singing with the All Souls Jubilee Singers at Nursing 
Homes in the Washington area and seeing resident periodically join in on 
songs they knew.  In one case, a staffer told us the person had not 
spoken in two years!  As you may remember,  Dave invited members of the 
choir to their house from time to time to sing from the hymnbook with 
Darlene.  So tomorrow or Friday I am going to visit her with the hymnal 
and invite her to sing some familiar hymns with me.  If she responds 
positively, I will let you know and perhaps a small number of us can do 
this from time to time.
