[Choir] Schedule and miscellaneous questions about the week

Hello all!

Happy Community Carol Sing week!

*Here is the overview of the week:*

Thursday 5:30-7:15:  regular rehearsal

Saturday 10-12:  Rehearse with other choirs, in the sanctuary.  We will
probably not need the full 2 hours.  A big part of this will involve
logistics.  If you can't be there (and have spoken to me about that) please
ask someone in your section to be aware of where you will be standing and
to pass on to you anything you need to know before the program.

Saturday 3:15 call.  Program starts at 4:00

                       * Dress:  Any combo of white, black, red and green.*

Sunday:  Regular service with rehearsal at 8:45 (singing *St Nick*)

*Questions for you:*

*Sitting/standing:*  We will be using risers for the Carol Sing, and since
we will be singing most things, will stay up on chancel on the risers
throughout the program.  There will be a few instrumental pieces sprinkled
through.   I expect the program will last somewhat over an hour.  We are
going to try to set up so that you can sit down on the risers when
possible.  But please let me know if you will require a chair or stool to
be able to sit more regularly and easily.  We will be setting up risers
after rehearsal on Thursday, and figuring out more specifically how we will
arrange people on Friday morning, and want to be sure to figure in any
accommodations needed.

*Help breaking down after the carol sing:*
Who can help break down risers after the event on Saturday?  Let me know.
We could use a few people.  Possibly also to help tidy up the sanctuary for
the next morning's service.

*Spoken part in "Saint Nick":*
Would anyone like to do the spoken section in the song we are working on
for Sunday's service?  (I did it in our last rehearsal.)  You can see it in
the music and listen to how it lays in on the recording posted on the
website.  We will set up a microphone for you at the service.
