[Coc] Mid-Year Reports

Hello all -


The Executive Team has decided to forego asking Committees Chairs to
prepare and submit their customary mid-year reports. Only an annual report
will be requested next spring in advance of the Church Annual Meeting.



The reason for this is that we have been discussing a change in the
reporting format that will seek to describe how each Committee’s work
speaks to the “Ends/Desired Results/Vision” for the elements of our Mission
Statement as articled by the Congregation and contained in the Board
Policies.

This will be a challenging departure from our current practice but we hope
this will help articulate how the work of Church Committees furthers our
Mission. The ET will be planning an educational session for an upcoming CoC
meeting to further share our thoughts and to answer questions from those of
you who will be submitting reports this coming spring.



For your information, I am attaching the portion of the Board Policies that
articulates the Church “Ends/Desired Results/Vision” statements.
