[Coc] Quarterly Newsletter

Hello UCM Board, Executive Team, Staff, & Committee Chairs!

This month, our Communications Team will be creating a Quarterly Newsletter
to be sent via email to everyone in our UCM Directory (Members & Friends)
with announcements & updates relating to what will be happening at UCM this
Fall.

As a staff member, you may wish to share an announcement about something(s)
that will be important for all our congregants to be aware of as the
2019-20 Church Year begins, or just a brief note & photo re-introducing
yourself, your role, & contact information.

As Committee Chairs, Board, or Executive Team members, please send me any
photos/summaries you may have of awesome Summer happenings in our UCM
community since June, and also a summary/announcement of what will be
happening (including dates, times, & locations) with your committee in
September, October, and November.

You may choose to write a brief letter/blog post as a Committee Chair;
collaborate with your Committee members to compile a bullet point list of
what you have recently been up to, and what you have coming up; or
highlight a stalwart volunteer on your committee, with their photo, a brief
bio, and a bit about the awesome work they do for our UCM community.

Other options could be to record a video, which we could provide a link to
in the Newsletter, or compile a photo slide deck. This could also be the
perfect opportunity to put together a clear & compelling ask for
volunteers! As everyone begins thinking about returning to school and
church, this is the perfect time of year to find new, energetic volunteers
for your committee or team.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and please submit what you
would like to have included in the Quarterly Newsletter prior to *Sunday,
August 25th at 5:00 p.m.*
