Ten of us participated in the Claiming Our Spiritual Leadership workshop
facilitated by the New England Region UUA last fall. The NER is offering
this training again this fall with one of those workshops hosted at UCM on
Saturday, November 16! (See details below.)

With our community abuzz with much activity, this workshop is a wonderful
opportunity for spiritual grounding and reflection on your leadership.

If you'd be interested in participating on November 16, please let me know.
It would be great to have a good team of UCM folx signed up!

Claiming Our Spiritual Leadership
Greetings!

Last year we witnessed unprecedented participation and enthusiasm for our
New England Region’s Claiming Our Spiritual Leadership (CoSL) workshop and
related Practices of Spiritual Leadership paper. Nearly 270 people
participated in the workshop from 64 New England congregations including a
team of leaders from your congregation. Some also participated in follow-up
online conversations to share how they are working to apply and deepen
spiritual leadership practices into their congregational lives.

The response we heard from a number of congregations suggested a desire to
expose more of their people to the Practices of Spiritual Leadership
framework and to make it a core element of what they teach and how they
lead. This is how communities build capacity over the long haul for living
into their mission.

Accordingly we are offering the workshop three times again this fall in
different locations on the following dates:

We also heard from some of you asking “Can I do it again? So much to
reflect on!” Our answer is “Absolutely!” Anyone who has attended this
workshop in the past is welcome to come again without cost provided they
bring a team of 3 new people with them from their congregation.
