[Coc] Spring "New UU" Invitation

Dear Committee Chairs,

This Spring, our "New UU" Classes will be held on Wednesday, March 27 and
Saturday, March 30. As you may recall, each Fall and Spring, the Membership
Committee facilitates these classes for newcomers, visitors, and all
community members who are interested in learning more about Unitarian
Universalism, and our UCM community.

This Spring will be my first time as lead facilitator for these classes
(gratefully, with the full support of our Membership Committee volunteers),
and we now find ourselves just two and a half weeks away from our Saturday
Session!

This is where you, our wonderful Committee Chairs, come in -- the Saturday
Session (from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) is when UCM community leaders are
invited to present to the New UU attendees about what it is that you do,
and how they may choose to get involved.

Is your committee in need of new volunteers? Are you looking for co-chairs,
secretaries, treasurers, or other committee members to help you with the
important work you are doing? I hope you will take this opportunity to let
me know, if you would like to be on the Agenda for the Saturday Session on
March 30th!

We have time during our Saturday Session for Nine (9) presentations,
lasting 4-5 minutes each -- if you and/or someone from your committee would
like to present about what you do, please RSVP as soon as you know who will
be available, so I can schedule you for one of the available 9 time slots!

If I hear from more than 9 of you, I will let you know if we will have time
on Saturday the 30th for you to present, and/or if we will be able to
include in printed materials for the class: a brief written summary of who
you are, which committee you lead, what your committee does, and how
newcomers may join/get involved with what you do.

Thank you, for everything you do for our UCM community, and I'm looking
forward to seeing a number of you at our Saturday morning Spring "New UU"
Class!
