[CoC] Committee Fair - November 10

Dear Committee Chairs,

Our "Fall New UU" classes are coming right up (Wednesday, November 6 and
Saturday, November 9), and this year the Membership & Hospitality Committee
would like to invite all committees who would like to be involved, to table
during the 10 - 11 a.m. Coffee/Fellowship Hour on Sunday, November 10.

Typically in the past, we have invited representatives from committees (as
you have been available) to attend our Saturday morning "New UU" class, but
we are trying this year a slightly different (hopefully more interactive)
way of letting our newcomers and visitors learn all about the many
opportunities for engagement here at UCM.

Ideally, one or two people from your committee will be able to set up
materials at tables (which will be arranged beforehand) so that during the
Coffee/Fellowship Hour, our newcomers and visitors will be able to approach
the tables for the committees that interest them, and you can tell them all
about your upcoming events/programs, how they can sign up to be involved,
etc.

You are also most welcome to partner up (I can imagine Lay Pastoral Care
and the Caring Network, or perhaps the Committee on Ministry and Worship
and Arts, for example, may be interested in tabling together / sharing a
table) -- some of our committees have a lot going on and a lot to display,
while others may just have a single sign-up sheet / flyer / cards /
brochures to hand out.

If you are interested and available -- or have another one or two people
from your committee who are available -- *please let me know by Friday,
November 8 *(I'll send out another reminder before then) if your committee
will be available to table on the 10th, so that I can print up visible
signs to set out on tables for you the morning of November 10.
