Dear Committee Chairs and Program Leaders,
The Executive Team and staff recognize what amazing ministry and programming
is currently happening and being planned for our church community! We thank
you for all of your intention and hard work. To ensure that we keep our
church calendar full but not overly busy, we are putting forward the
following program planning guidelines for the rest of the church year:
- No additional church programs will be added to the calendar from now until
the end of December beyond what is already scheduled. We've got plenty going
on! (Any type of event or activity organized by a UCM committee/team to
which church members/friends are invited to participate whether hosted at
UCM or in another location is a church program.)
- All committees, teams, and staff are asked to submit their proposals for
programs to occur between January 1 and June 30 to the Executive Team by
December 1. Specific dates are encouraged, but tentative dates are okay,
too. The ET will review all the program plans to ensure that we are not
competing with one another for our members/friends' time and attention!
- Regular committee meetings do not need to be submitted for review.
- If your committee has a staff liaison, please work with them to put
together your list and submit it to the ET.
- We will present the list of all possible programs to the Committee of
Chairs at the January meeting.
- Any questions can be sent to the ET at ucm.executiveteam at gmail.com
The ET and staff appreciate your understanding, support, and your
outstanding service to our church which helps makes UCM such a vital
spiritual community.
Sincerely,
Your UCM Executive Team:
Ron Cameron
