[SRCAction] SRC Meeting THIS Sunday!

Tue Apr 4 15:18:11 CDT 2017

I'd love to ask for some help for the Listening Circle. Here's the
invitation:

Join our Listening Circle on *Passage and Sanctuary* to share *stories,
poems, songs, and images* of radical change, finding a new home, a new
identity, flight from discrimination…ethnic cleansing…poverty…war…climate
change--- or to listen to others share their stories. All Welcome to share
or to listen.

*Saturday, April 15*

*3 p.m. to 5 p.m.*

*Unitarian Church of Montpelier*

*What does “sanctuary” mean to you personally?* *Have you ever needed it?*
*Lost it?* *Found it?* *Given it?* There is no one in this city, or this
country, who has not personally or historically (through ancestors)
experienced the loss of a home (one interpretation of “sanctuary”), or a
homeland, and/or the need for a haven (another meaning). What does it mean
for us to offer such shelter to others?
