Tuesday - Jan 23     5:30-8pm
     Public Hearing on Access to Healthcare.
     2nd Floor, House Chamber.
"Join us at the hearing to call for a universal healthcare system that 
treats not only primary care, but all medically-necessary care as a 
public good and a human right."

Wednesday - Jan 24     ~1pm (when the Senate returns from the floor)
TESTIMONY for S.281 (Act 54 and Fair and Impartial Policing).
Very Brief Background: The Racial Justice Reform Coalition lobbied for 
an oversight board for systemic racism in VT but the legislature gave VT 
an "advisory board" only (Act 54).  The Coalition is continuing to press 
for an actionable body as previously requested (S.281)

"It is time that we as a State take ACTION! We need an Equity Commission 
to take on the responsibility of managing systemic racism in Vermont! 
Show up and stand on the right side of history."

Thursday - Jan 25    events all day, movie screening of *13**th *in evening
      Systemic Racism Awareness Day.
VT Statehouse. Even if you can't attend events all day, please try to 
make it to the press conference at 3pm to show your support!
