  Hello all-

We held our meeting on Sunday the 29th from 1pm-5pm.  Eighteen organizations showed up for seven slots so I was grateful to those church members and friends who were able to stay and help me not only through the meeting but the voting process.   

Here are our pouch recipients by month. 

October:  UCM Community Pouch
November: Central Vermont Refugee Action Network
December: People's Health and Wellness Clinic
January: Outright Vermont
February: Circle
March: Planting Hope
April: Green Up Vermont/Friends of the Winooski
May: Vermont Freedom Bail Fund
June: Community Harvest of Central Vermont

I welcome feedback at any time.  Feel free to contact me at this e-mail address or give me a call in the evening at 223-3157. I would especially like to know if you heard from anyone as far as the two changes we made in the meeting this year. The first is that we used a timer and each organization only had 10 minutes. The second is that we sent out an application before the meeting that the organization representatives used to present. I thought the meeting went well but would be interested to hear if others felt they were too rushed or if the presentations were too scripted. Thanks.
