 Good morning-

I realized that I hadn't let anyone know that we were doing something different this year. During the meeting for the vote it was decided that I would type up a document that gave the contact information as well as a few lines about current projects for each of the organizations that did not get selected. I am using the application to get the information and Janet Poeton will be my editor. I've included the general e-mail that I'm sending out to these organizations so you can see what I'm doing.

I want to thank you for coming to address our committee and bringing attention to all the great work that [ORGANIZATION] does.  Unfortunately we only have eight slots to receive the community pouch which causes us to have to reject some very worthwhile organizations, yours being one.  We are grateful that you attended this meeting and hope that you will return next year.  I will be putting together a document with general information about each organization that came to the meeting but did not get selected to give to the church congregation. This will include contact information as well as one or two lines about your current projects. In this way the entire congregation will learn about the good work that your organization does. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
